Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin revealed on Instagram that he is recovering well from his setback against Chelsea on Saturday.
The 21-year-old was forced off in the aftermath of Chelsea’s opening goal, after injuring his head in a collision with Marcos Alonso.
The two Spanish internationals went head-to-head in the air, with Alonso appearing to catch the Arsenal man with an elbow.
A concussed Bellerin toppled to the floor unaware of what was going on around him, signalling the end of his participation at Stamford Bridge.
The challenge itself has sparked great debate, although Arsenal fans have remained largely fearful over the extent of the injury.
However, Bellerin took to his personal Instagram account on Sunday to reassure fans that he was recovering well from the incident, and that he would soon be back in action.
Arsenal went on to lose the game 3-1, and they now trail the league leaders by 12 points, all but ending their hopes of Premier League title glory this season.
Bellerin may be back in contention to face Hull in their next outing on Saturday, although if there is any doubt over his fitness he will not be risked.
Arsene Wenger does have other options available to him should he play no part against the Tigers, with Gabriel Paulista, Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson all ready to jump in.
In other Arsenal news, Thierry Henry believes this Arsenal sensation is the best in the Premier League.
