Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin believes his side are in good spirits going into their game against Tottenham at the weekend.
The Gunners travel to White Hart Lane for an important Premier League clash and will be looking to keep up their recent revival.
Arsene Wenger’s side have had a fairly poor 2017 so far, but three consecutive wins across all competitions has lifted the mood slightly at the Emirates Stadium.
They are now sixth-placed in the Premier League table and are chasing down the top-four positions to earn Champions League qualification.
Meanwhile, Spurs will be fully motivated at the weekend as they are competing with Chelsea for the league title.
Bellerin feels that Arsenal are in a good place right now and need to continue it ahead of the Spurs game.
“There was good energy and good spirit and we’ve just got to keep it going into the weekend now,” Bellerin told Sky Sports. “It’s really important to get to those games with a good spirit and good mood in the dressing room and after these two last results, the team is in a great one and we’ve just got to keep it going.”
Arsenal managed to scrape a 1-0 home victory over Leicester on Wednesday night as Robert Huth scored an own goal.
They are four points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester City now as a result and have six games to make up that deficit.
Wenger has never finish outside of the top-four during his tenure and that has caused a number of supporters to call for his time to end.
However, many fans still the back the Frenchman and he guided the Gunners to an FA Cup final at the weekend where they will play Chelsea.
