Henderson, who left the Bhoys because of a lack of first-team opportunities, has been saluted by supporters for taking the unexpected move of joining a team in Italy, with many hoping that he will one day return to Celtic Park.
Here are some of the best reactions to the Henderson transfer:
Good luck Liam, feel like this move could be the making of him. Always showed great potential. Also seems to have a good temperament for a young player, won't be surprised to see him back one day 🍀

Henderson has had spells away from Celtic Park before, going on loan to Rosenborg and Hibs, where he won the Scottish Cup in 2016.
His chances of first-team football with the Hoops has receded following the arrivals of Olivier Ntcham and Eboue Kouassi in the last year, and the good form of Stuart Armstrong and Callum McGregor put Henderson at the back of the line when it came to first-team football.
Henderson joins the likes of Nadir Ciftci and Erik Svitachenko in leaving the Hoops in the January window, but unlike those deals this transfer is a permanent deal.
The Hoops return to action after the winter break with a home tie against Brechin in the Scottish Cup on Saturday.
In other Celtic news, the Hoops should try and bring Ryan Christie back to the club this month
