Newcastle United fans are furious with striker Joselu for his display in the 1-0 Premier League defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The 27-year-old has been criticised by Magpies fans for his performances for the team this season. Many fans questioned manager Rafa Benitez’s decision to start him ahead of Dwight Gayle, who has scored three goals in his last five games.
Although his performance improved in the second half, Newcastle supporters are fuming with the player for his display at the Emirates and took to social media to express their frustration.

Arsenal took the lead in the 23rd minute thanks to a sublime volley from midfielder Mesut Ozil. Alexandre Lacazette, Hector Bellerin and Ainsley Maitland-Niles all had good first-half chances for the Gunners, as the home side dominated.
Newcastle improved in the second half but were unable to score.
Benitez’s side are now without a win in their last nine Premier League matches and are in serious danger of relegation. If West Ham United beat Stoke this afternoon, Newcastle will drop into the bottom-three.
The Magpies’ poor record against Arsenal has continued, they have now lost their last ten consecutive Premier League games against the Gunners and have conceded 23 goals in that time.
Benitez is now without a win in his seven Premier League away games against Arsenal.
