How Leeds can use obvious bargaining chip to seal sensational Harry Wilson deal in January
Leeds United might be able to save themselves from Premier League relegation if Harry Wilson is one of multiple signings in January.
This is not a new transfer target for Daniel Farke. Leeds tried to sign Wilson during the summer before Fulham pulled out of a deal, leaving the newly promoted side high and dry.
Football Insider understands that Fulham want to tie Wilson down to a new contract at Craven Cottage, but it remains to be seen where the Welshman stands on his future.
Multiple reports state that Farke’s team remain interested in the winger, who also plays attacking midfield for his international side, and the club may be able to use one of their own players as leverage.

Fulham have previously been interested in Jack Harrison
Back in February, according to the Daily Mail, Fulham had a keen interest in Jack Harrison, who was on loan at Everton at the time, and has since failed to win the fans’ hearts at Elland Road.
The winger gave away a penalty after coming on as a substitute against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, but had already been booed by the supporters when stepping onto the pitch.
He has just one goal contribution since the start of last season, so it is clearly not worth having the 28-year-old on the books, especially if Leeds can use him to sweeten another deal.
The Cottagers are also struggling for form, only sitting above Leeds in the Premier League on goal difference, and adding more wingers to their squad in January could be seen as a must.
Leeds United surely to go back in for Harry Wilson
While a lot of money was invested in Kevin and Samuel Chukwueze, neither has cemented their spot in the lineup, and Marco Silva might be willing to chance it with a deal for Harrison.
That would be huge for Leeds and a potential deal for Wilson, who has impressed in spurts at Craven Cottage, but still appears to be fighting for regular minutes in the starting lineup.
At international level, he is the most creative player in Craig Bellamy‘s squad, and with so much work alongside Kieffer Moore, teaming up with Dominic Calvert-Lewin would be ideal for everyone.
Those at Elland Road would be praying for Wilson to rediscover his form from the 2023-24 campaign, when he notched five goals and nine assists, and that would certainly boost Leeds’ survival hopes.
