'Huge' Arsenal sale tipped by ex-striker after Tierney update
Frank McAvennie claims Arsenal are bracing themselves for interest in Kieran Tierney this summer.
The former West Ham striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claims “top, top clubs” are looking at the defender.
On 12th June, The Sun claimed Tierney is in talks with Arsenal over a new contract with improved terms.
Tierney, 24, made 27 Premier League appearances for Arsenal last season
He was utilised at both left back and centre back during a congested season for the Gunners.
He missed a run of games with a knee injury in early 2021 but returned for the club’s run in.

McAvennie insists Arsenal are offering Tierney a new deal so they can get a better deal when they sell him.
“Somebody is going to come in for him,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“That’s why they have done that. It means they can get huge money.
“I’m delighted for Kieran. He’s a great lad, I’ve got so much time for him.
“I could have told you years ago how good he would go on to be. He walks into that Arsenal team.
“He is a leader in that team and I’ve said before, he can play for any team in Europe.
“Tierney will have top, top clubs interested in him. If he signs with Arsenal it will be some deal.
“It’s great for him as his family if he comes one of the high earners there. I can’t speak highly enough of him.
“He’s gone to London, embraced it and he’s thriving. It’s great to see.”
Tierney joined the Gunners from Celtic in the summer of 2019.
Since moving to North London he has won the FA Cup and the Community Shield.
