Hugo Bueno undergoing Feyenoord medical after Celtic offer – sources

Wolves defender Hugo Bueno is undergoing a Feyenoord medical now after they beat Celtic to his signature, sources have told Football Insider.

Celtic also submitted a loan offer for the Spain Under-21 international, but the Eredivisie side have won the race.

The Dutch big guns have agreed terms with Wolves, and Bueno is now putting the finishing touches to complete the move.

The 21-year-old is an attacking full-back who was often utilised further up the pitch as a left midfielder by Wolves boss Gary O’Neil last season.

That versatility brought plenty of attention to Bueno, with Celtic hoping that he’d provide competition for Greg Taylor this season.

The move will provide the defender with the opportunity to play in the Champions League this season.
