Hutton makes 'massive' Kamara claim after Rangers talks update
Alan Hutton has admitted he would “love” to see Rangers agree terms of a new contract with Glen Kamara.
The former Gers defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, said Kamara could play “a massive part” in the Ibrox club’s future
Speaking to MTV Uutiset (September 7th), the Finland international, 25, confirmed contract talks with the club were still taking place.
Kamara revealed back in March talks had taken place over a new deal.
Steven Gerrard confirmed there was a “really strong, good offer on the table for Glen” in early August.
Football Insider exclusively revealed on Tuesday (September 7th) that Arsenal had made an approach to re-sign Kamara during the summer window.

Hutton lavished praise on the former Dundee man, highlighting his absence in key European qualifiers.
“I’d love to see a deal get done for Kamara,” the Rangers TV pundit told Football Insider‘s Russell Edge.
“When you see him missing from the European games, you realise how much of a miss he is for that team.
“It doesn’t surprise me that we did struggle in the likes of that Malmo game.
“He’s that energetic player – he gets on the ball; he makes things happen. I always feel more comfortable when he’s in the side.
“He’s a brilliant player and I hope that he does commit to Rangers – because they are really building something for the future.
“He can be a massive part of that.”
The Finland star joined Rangers from Dundee in 2019 and has played 112 times for the Scottish giants.
Kamara’s current deal at Ibrox expires in 2023.
