'I was getting a lot of stick' - Agent of Rangers sensation shares Twitter fights with Ibrox faithful

The agent of Alfredo Morelos has revealed he was taunted by fans on social media after the Rangers striker’s early matches for the club.
The Colombian striker is emerging as the talisman of Pedro Caixinha’s revamped team after overcoming teething problems to score eight goals in 10 games for his new club, six of which have come in six league matches.
Morelos is well on the way to breaking the 30-goal barrier for the season and his form has not gone unnoticed with scouts from a string of English Championship sides reportedly in attendance at Firhill last Friday to cast an eye over the 21-year-old as he scored in a 2-2 draw.
Jonne Lindblom brokered the deal for the 21-year-old to move from HJ Helsinki to Ibrox in June and has watched his client from afar in his native Finland as well as testing the temperature on social media.
“It’s quite funny because obviously Rangers didn’t start the season well and I still don’t think they are playing at the level they can play,” Lindblom told the Daily Record. “But I was getting a lot of stick from Rangers fans on Twitter after a few games. They were saying Alfredo is not good enough for Rangers.

“But, personally, I never had any doubts. I have been watching him play for two and half years, week in week out and I know what he is capable of.
“Maybe it’s happening more quickly than I expected because you never know what is going to happen when a player joins a new team.
“Obviously he didn’t start the first few games which was expected but as soon as he scored a few goals he took his chance. It’s going to be very difficult to leave him on the bench now, especially for this Celtic game.”
Morelos is almost certain to spearhead the Rangers attack in Saturday’s Old Firm showdown at Ibrox and will be considered as the dangerman by the visitors.
Both of the Glasgow giants won their League Cup quarter-final midweek matches to book semi-final slots and are in reasonable fettle ahead of the weekend.
In other Rangers transfer news, a 26-year-old in the form of his life has revealed he was offered a number of deals to quit Ibrox this summer.
