Tottenham fans were fuming with Johnson against Copenhagen in the Champions League after he scored and then got sent off.
It seemed the Welshman couldn’t shrug off the silly dismissal as he struggled for the Lilywhites against the Red Devils.
The number 22 lost possession on 18 separate occasions as he was frequently tackled by United, enraging the onlooking home crowd.
Barring a purple patch at the start of last season, the former Nottingham Forest winger has suffered relentless criticism from the Spurs faithful with his poor showings.
