Ian Wright makes bold claim about Liverpool forwards

BBC Sport pundit Ian Wright believes Liverpool have the best attack in the Premier League.

The Reds showcased their attacking dominance when they thrashed newly-promoted Brighton 5-1 at the AMEX Stadium on Saturday, with Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho all impressing.

Sadio Mane was on the bench on Saturday and has missed large parts of the season with a hamstring injury but has also been very impressive for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Wright said on BBC Radio 5 Live on Monday that he thought Liverpool had the best attack out of all the Premier League teams, including unbeaten leaders Manchester City.

Liverpool have scored 33 Premier League goals this season, while City are the division’s top scorers with 46. However, Wright believes the Reds are better in that department.

Salah has scored 17 goals in 22 matches since joining the club from Roma in the summer and is the Premier League’s top goal scorer with 12.
