Ibrox Sources: Rangers to dump attacker who's shone on loan this season
By Harry Talbot
Rangers are set to bin Joe Dodoo despite his impressive season on loan, Football Insider understands.
The attacker, 23, has shone on loan for English League One club Blackpool this season, directly contributing to 10 goals in 25 appearances.
But a club source has told Football Insider Rangers will look to sell Dodoo in the forthcoming window as he is considered surplus to requirements by manager Steven Gerrard.
Dodoo has a contract at Ibrox that runs until the summer of 2020 after joining on a free transfer from Leicester City when Mark Warburton was the manager in 2016.
The former England Under-18 international scored five goals in 27 appearances for Rangers but did not completely convince and has spent the last two seasons on loan, first at Charlton Athletic and then at Blackpool.

Dodoo has scored six times for the north-west English team and supplied four assists this season but the Light Blues will listen to offers for him in the forthcoming window.
In other Rangers transfer news, it can be REVEALED that the club are in talks to terminate the contract of a £20,000-a-week Ibrox player.
