Celtic 24-year-old: This is where I want to spend my career

Midfielder Callum McGregor has revealed that he wants to spend his whole career at Celtic after recently signing a new deal with the club.
The 24-year-old joined the Hoops as a young boy back in 2001 and has remained at the Glaswegian side ever since, except for his season long loan away at Notts County in the 2013/14 season.
After 16 years at the Parkhead, McGregor extended his contract with the club which ties him down until 2021, but now the attacker is eager to spend even longer with the Bhoys.
“Signing a new contract is always a special moment in your career, especially when you’ve been here for so long. Knowing that I’m going to be here for another four years makes coming to training every morning that bit more exciting,” McGregor said to Celtic View, as quoted by the official website.
“I’d love to spend the rest of my career at Celtic.

“You never know but you always try to do well and be here as long as you can and I know that’s down to me. I’ve only just signed this new deal and I definitely want to see that out.
“Hopefully after that, if the club still want me, I can continue to be here and play.”
So far this season the attacker has continued to impress boss Brendan Rodgers and as a result has featured in all of the club’s Premiership matches so far this season.
During the current campaign, the Hoops remain undefeated in the competition and McGregor has contributed to that by scoring three goals and providing two assists so far.
Next, Rodgers’ squad head to the Ibrox stadium to face rivals Rangers in the first Old Firm showdown of the season.
Last year, Celtic had an impressive run of results in all competitions against the Light Blues, with their last fixtures against their fellow Glaswegians ending in a 5-1 victory.
