'Imagine it', 'Stay forever' - Celtic fans plead with goal machine to commit future

Celtic fans on social media are pleading with Moussa Dembele to commit his future to the Scottish champions.

The 21-year-old Frenchman ended the season in style with a fine performance in the Scottish Cup Final win over Motherwell, and after he took to social media to celebrate the season fans bombarded him with messages to stay long-term with the Bhoys.

One fan went as far as to claim that the player should ‘stay forever’ with the Hoops, whilst another wanted Dembele to sign a new five year deal.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter, as fans hope that Dembele stays for a while yet in Glasgow.

Dembele didn’t match his goalscoring feats of his first season with the Hoops in his second season, but he still managed 16 goals, which is a good return when you consider that he struggled at times with both injuries and a loss of form.

Dembele’s future will no doubt the subject of plenty of speculation over the next few weeks, like it has been almost as soon as he joined the Hoops.

Whilst at the moment there are no new reports of any interest in the player, most supporters would be pleasantly surprised if he was still playing for the Hoops at the start of next season.
