Independent: Tottenham eye Man United star, club to sanction exit
By Amir Mir
Manchester United will listen to offers for Luke Shaw in the summer with Tottenham and Chelsea possible destinations, according to a report.
The Independent claim that the 21-year-old left-back is “almost certain” to leave Old Trafford this summer as manager Jose Mourinho begins to get frustrated at his lack of development.
It is said that Chelsea and London rivals Spurs have been earmarked as potential buyers for the England international, but a Spurs move would depend on Danny Rose’s future at the north London club.
Shaw made a switch to United during the summer of 2014 with the Manchester club paying Southampton £32million for the then-teenager.
Since then his career at the club has been stop-start as he had to contend with injuries and a lack of form.

The Independent reports that United are willing to listen to offers for the Saints academy product but it remains to be seen whether they will sell to a rival.
This season, Shaw has played 13 games in all competitions and he has not featured in the Premier League since the goalless draw against Burnley in October.
Football Insider verdict:
Tottenham should not make a move for Luke Shaw as their current two left-backs at Spurs, Danny Rose and Ben Davies, are better than the Manchester United player. The transfer fee for the Southampton academy product will certainly be a high figure so that in itself, financially, will not be worth investing in. The London club should continue to invest and build upon their current crop of young players who, at this moment in time, are ahead of United in the Premier League title race. Additionally, keeping Rose is a must as the Spurs academy player has established himself as one of the best full-backs, not just in the Premier League, but now in Europe.
