Insider: Conte to make up mind imminently if Dele Alli's Tottenham career is over
Tottenham will sell Dele Alli in January if he doesn’t feature against Leeds United or Mura after the international break.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Alli, 25, has failed to play a single minute in Antonio Conte’s first two games as Tottenham boss.
Under previous manager Nuno Espirito Santo, the midfielder made 12 appearances with nine of those being starts.
After a run in the side, he was hauled off at half-time after a woeful performance in the North London derby and dropped for the next three games.
Wenham claims Alli must take his chance to impress Conte during the international break or risk being sold in January.

“Alli has struggled to hit those high standards he set for himself,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I think the next two weeks will be absolutely key. If he does well in training then maybe he can force his way in.
“This is another big chance for him. It’s a solid two weeks of no distractions.
“He needs to impress a new manager and new coaching staff and show them what he’s all about.
“We all know how good he can be, so it’s about showing Conte he can do that.
“If he isn’t selected against Leeds or Mura after the break, we can safely say Conte has decided Alli isn’t for him.
“Even coming off the bench will be a good sign because so far he hasn’t played a minute under Conte so far and that’s got to be worrying for him.
“If he doesn’t play in those games, I think a January move would be best for all parties.”
