Insider: Tottenham hit by 'massive loss' as star ruled out of Leeds clash
Tottenham have suffered a “massive loss” against Leeds with Oliver Skipp set to miss the clash.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Skipp, 21, will miss Tottenham’s game with Leeds after the international break after picking up a fifth yellow card of the season against Everton.
The midfielder has been a key player this season, making 16 appearances in all competitions.
Alasdair Gold reported Antonio Conte has taken a shine to Skipp.
It was claimed Conte views the midfielder as “a coach’s dream” as he gives his all whether it be in training or during a game.

Wenham insists Skipp’s absence will be “massive” for Tottenham as they look to return to winning ways in the league.
“For me, it’s a massive loss,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“For me, Skipp was one of our best players yesterday. I saw some of the papers giving him seven out of 10 as a midfielder in a 0-0.
“I have seen some fantasists saying we will start against Leeds with the same midfield we had against Arsenal.
“That simply won’t happen. There are two weeks to work with the players.
“There are options there and Conte has two weeks to sort it out for that one game.
“Harry Winks is there who I am sure will relish a chance to come back in.
“Of course, Ndombele is also there. We have options and Leeds haven’t set the world on fire this season.”
Leeds travel to Tottenham on the back of a 1-1 draw with Leicester.
Spurs beat the Whites 3-0 on their last visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
