Insider expects 'multiple' Tottenham transfers after stars impress in game 'packed with scouts'
Tottenham Under 23s’ game against Man United Under 23s on Monday was “packed” with scouts and could lead to multiple transfers.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham’s young stars drew 1-1 with Man United’s Under 23s on Monday (10 January) after a late strike from Dilan Markanday.
As per Wenham, the game was watched by scouts sent from “loads of different clubs” and he predicted several young stars could leave the club on loan in the near future as a result.
“I’m sure Monday’s game against Man United was packed with scouts,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“There will have been scouts from a load of different clubs looking at our players.

“Some of those will have been Dilan Markanday and Harvey White.
“Now the FA Cup third round has been and gone and the fourth round isn’t until February, there is no other chance for them to play before going out on loan.
“Obviously scouts will have been sent to watch Man United’s young stars as well so as I say, that game will be brimming with scouts.
“That could then lead to several moves I have been hoping for. As I’ve said numerous times, these young players need to be out on loan playing league football now.”
Markanday made his senior debut in 21 October’s 1-0 loss to Vitesse.
White has made two senior appearances for the club.
