Insider: Oluwayemi set to leave Tottenham in pre-contract move after ‘telling’ development
Joshua Oluwayemi is set to leave Tottenham either in January or upon the expiration of his contract in the summer of 2022.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Oluwayemi, 20, has missed Tottenham Under 23s’ last six Premier League 2 games despite starting the previous eight games in that competition.

The stopper’s sudden drop to the bench came as the Evening Standard reported interest from Jose Mourinho’s Roma on 8 October 2021.
Wenham expects Oluwayemi, who has already been called up to the senior Nigeria side, won’t be a Tottenham player for much longer.
“One player to look out for is Joshua Oluwayemi,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He’s a goalkeeper who has already had a callup to the senior Nigeria squad this year.
“He also had a loan spell at Maidstone last year. There was talk in the Evening Standard back in October that Roma wanted him.
“Clearly, he impressed Mourinho when he was here. It is very noticeable that since those reports came out, he has been replaced in the Under 23s.
“Thimothee Lo-Tutala has been playing instead. That’s telling, for me. On football merits alone, I’m fully behind that decision.
“Lo-Tutala is the number one for the France Under 19 side.

“I very much expect Oluwayemi to leave Tottenham. It could be in January if a pre-contract deal can be agreed.
“If that was to happen I would have no problem with that at all.”
In other news, 24-year-old is “100 per cent” planning to quit Tottenham in January.
