Insider tells Tottenham fans to 'keep an eye' on Akhamrich after he demolished Arsenal

Yusuf Akhanrich is the new name for Tottenham fans to keep an eye on after impressing in a 6-5 win over Arsenal.

That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Akhamrich scored a hat-trick as Tottenham’s Under 16s beat Arsenal’s Under 16s’ 6-5 on Sunday (8 January).

Samuel Amo-Ameyaw grabbed a brace while Damola Ajayi also chipped in with a goal.

Wenham was delighted with the result and is excited to see what Akhamrich does next after announcing himself in the derby clash.

“I was very pleased to see our Under 16s register another win over Arsenal last week,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“That was a win away from home at London Colney as well so that’s brilliant.

“Yusuf Akhamrich grabbed a hat-trick so I am especially pleased for him.

“Hopefully he is another young, exciting, attacking player for the fans to keep an eye on.

“We have a lot of really good, exciting, young players coming through at that level but grabbing a hat-trick against Arsenal is a great way to announce yourself.”

Akhamrich joins the ranks of Dilan Markanday and Dane Scarlett as forward to keep an eye on over the coming years at Tottenham.

Both of those players have made senior appearances this season, proving there is a clear pathway to the first team for young stars.

In other news, a pundit claims Daniel Levy is a ‘liar’ and insists Conte is the latest Tottenham manager to be ’embarrassed’ by the Spurs chief.
