West Ham could be in a position to announce their first summer transfer as early as this week, according to a club insider.
The Twitter account Ex-WHU employee reported on Sunday evening that the transfer window could start for West Ham within days as the club gear up for an announcement to be made.

West Ham have already been linked with a number of potential targets, as Slaven Bilic is expected to make a host of changes to his first-team squad following a disappointing season in the Premier League.
The London club finished 11th in the Premier League this term, thanks to a 2-1 comeback victory over Burnley at Turf Moor, which is four places below last season’s finish.
Ex-WHU Employee, who is a reliable source of Hammers news and has broken a number of stories about the club this season, was responding to a fan message about the club’s upcoming transfer window.

It is possible that West Ham could be preparing to unveil the signing of experienced full-back Pablo Zabaleta, who is set to quit Manchester City at the end of the season.
The Standard reported last week that the Hammers had tabled a two-year contract offer for the 32-year-old, and that West Ham were the favourites for his signature.
However, there could be several other items on the agenda for the club, and it is far from certain that Zabaleta could be any closer to agreeing a move to the London Stadium.
The announcement could even refer to a potential departure, with a number of senior players likely to be sacrificed by Bilic in the coming months.
