Ipswich star Cameron Humphreys in talks to agree move – sources
Ipswich midfielder Cameron Humphreys is being lined up for a loan move to Wycombe Wanderers, sources have told Football Insider.
The 20-year-old is well down the pecking order in Kieran McKenna’s plans at Portman Road following their promotion to the Premier League especially after the loan signing of Kalvin Phillips.
Football Insider revealed (August 16) that Ipswich had beaten Everton to the signature of Manchester City midfielder Phillips.
A number of EFL clubs have shown an interest in taking the central midfielder on loan, but Wycombe are leading the chase for his services.
Talks are underway over a deal.

Humphreys only made nine appearances for his boyhood club last season as they secured Premier League football for the first time since 2001-02.
The youngster looks set to become a casualty of a busy transfer window for the newly promoted side as they seek to make an impression in England’s top flight.

The Premier League new boys have already spent £71.5 million on six new first-team players so far in this transfer window but they don’t have any intention of stopping there.
