'It would be a dream' - Reported £60,000-a-wk PL player makes Liverpool transfer admission
Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has admitted that he would love to play for Liverpool.
Doucoure, 25, has previously confirmed that Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are all interested in signing him, but now the French midfielder has dropped a big hint that if he had the choice of the three, he would pick Anfield.
The Daily Mail had reported that Premier League club Watford value the £60,000-a-week player at £20million after what has been an impressive campaign for him at Vicarage Road.
He has made 32 appearances in all competitions, scored seven goals and supplied three assists.
And now, Doucoure has told French TV station Canal+ that an offer from Liverpool would definitely tempt him.
“Liverpool is a club that needs no introduction,” he said, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.

“I was impatient to play there at Anfield, I wanted to feel the atmosphere. For me it would be a dream to play in a club like this.
“If there is an offer, we will discuss to find the best solution. Everyone wants to play in the Champions League, the big competitions.”
Football Insider verdict
Doucoure has been great for Watford this season and would certainly be a good signing for Liverpool. Emre Can is likely to be off in the summer so he will need replacing and the Vicarage Road man could be the perfect man to do just that. At £20million he would be a good buy and his wage demands should not be too much considering how much he earns at Watford. His willingness to play for the Reds is also a major plus point and means it should put the Merseyside club at the front of the queue if Arsenal and Spurs make offers as well.
