‘It’s happening’ – Brentford fans want Kevin Schade replacement signed on deadline day
Brentford fans have been left angry at Kevin Schade despite their victory against Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Dango Ouattara netted the only goal of the game in the first half, as Brentford beat Aston Villa 1-0 to reignite their push for European football next season.
Brentford had lost back-to-back games against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest, but the three points at Villa Park lifts Keith Andrews’ side back into seventh place.
Andrews has been praised for the job he has done at Brentford this season, with the 45-year-old continuing to enjoy a successful first season as a Premier League manager.

Kevin Schade ‘needs benching’ after Aston Villa red
Schade was sent off in the first half at Aston Villa, as the German appeared to kick out at defender Matty Cash.
The red card in the 42nd minute swung the game in Villa’s favour, despite Ouattara netting what proved to be the winner just moments later.
Aston Villa had 86% possession and 20 shots on goal, as Unai Emery’s side pressed for a breakthrough in the second half.
Brentford though stood firm with ten men, but fans continued to vent their frustration at Schade after the final whistle.
Supporters believe Schade needs to drop to the bench, whilst another wants the club to be active on the final day of the January transfer window to replace the 24-year-old.
Brentford set for quiet January window
Schade has scored six goals and registered three assists in the Premier League this season, proving that he is a key player for the club.
Brentford have been criticised for relying too heavily on striker Igor Thiago, who has scored 16 goals this campaign.

The Bees though are not expected to be busy on deadline day, with the club having only signed Club Brugge striker Kaye Furo in January so far.
The 18-year-old is seen as a prospect for the future, and fans will hope he can have the same impact as Thiago who also joined Brentford from Club Brugge.
Thiago’s form at Brentford means he is wanted by Premier League clubs, and bids may come in for the 24-year-old in the summer transfer window.
