Ivan Toney: Brentford asking price for Newcastle United and Brighton target revealed – Sources
Brentford will demand at least £30million for Ivan Toney this summer amid growing Newcastle United interest, Football Insider understands.
The Londoners are braced for big offers for their star striker on the back of his impressive 14-goal campaign.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Newcastle and Brighton are among the clubs keeping close tabs on Toney.

They will have to pay a huge fee to prise the 26-year-old from the Bees, who will let it be known that it will take £30m to bring them to the negotiating table.
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is a big admirer of the pace, power and presence of Toney and believes the former Toon star would fit well in his side.
Brentford have previously secured £20m+ fees from Premier League clubs for Ollie Watkins, Said Benrahma and Neal Maupay.
Toney has been described as “phenomenal” by Bees chairman Cliff Crown, speaking to Sky Sports in May 2021.
Toney first joined Newcastle from Northampton in the summer of 2015.
However, he would only make four senior appearances for the Magpies before being sold to Peterborough following four loan moves.
Newcastle have struggled to find a regular source of goals this season with Callum Wilson still the club’s top scorer despite being injured since December.
Chris Wood was signed in January but he has only scored two goals in 13 Premier League appearances.

Newcastle now look sure for Premier League survival after beating Leicester 2-1 on Sunday (17 April).
That left the club on 37 points ahead of tonight’s (20 April) game against Crystal Palace.
