Jack Wilshere admits what he loved during Tottenham FA Cup win v Rochdale
Arsenal star Jack Wilshere admitted that he loved Robbie Savage’s commentary during Tottenham’s 6-1 hammering of League One Rochdale in the FA Cup on Wednesday night.
Spurs booked a Sixth Round clash against Swansea with a convincing win at Wembley after blowing away their third-tier visitors in the second-half.
However the snow-hit game was marred by yet more controversy surrounding the VAR system which disallowed an early goal by Erik Lamela even though there appeared to be nothing wrong with it.
It also took several minutes to award a penalty for a foul on Kieran Trippier, which was then scored by Heung-min Son before he was booked for stuttering his run-up.
Savage was clearly bewildered in his commentary and received a lot of criticism on social media for not having a clue about what was going on.
The former Blackburn, Birmingham and Derby midfielder is not the most popular of characters anyway for the reputation he earned during his playing career.

But it seems that he did have one fan in Wilshere though, who posted on his personal Instagram account an image of his television with the Spurs game, captioning it by saying: “Gotta love a bit of Robbie Savage.”
Wilshere has made 27 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season, scoring two goals and supplying five assists.
In other Tottenham news, fans slammed one player despite the win against Rochdale, with one labeling him as a “liability”.
