Jadon Sancho and Morgan Rogers react to Cole Palmer’s message after Chelsea masterclass
Cole Palmer left an upbeat message to Chelsea supporters after they secured Champions League football on the final day.
Chelsea sealed their return to Europe’s top competition with a narrow but vital 1–0 win over Nottingham Forest on the final matchday of the Premier League season.
Levi Colwill scored the decisive goal in a tense encounter, earning all three points for the Blues against a Forest side also pushing for a top-five finish. The result meant Chelsea clinched a Champions League spot for the first time in two seasons, capping off a dramatic end to the campaign.
While Palmer had a poor performance for Chelsea on the day, his impact over the season remained undeniable. The 23-year-old finished the campaign as Chelsea’s top scorer, playing a pivotal role in their push back into Europe.
Following the win, Palmer shared a message with supporters to reflect on the season and look ahead to what’s next.
Premier League table | Points |

Cole Palmer set to stay at Chelsea after Champions League boost
Palmer had been linked with a possible exit from Chelsea if they failed to qualify for the Champions League, but those rumours appear to have been silenced after the Blues secured a fourth-place finish.
After the final whistle, the England international shared a message with supporters on Instagram, writing: “Back where we belong! Champions League nights loading,” followed by a blue heart emoji.
The post drew plenty of attention, with Morgan Rogers, Jadon Sancho and Reece James all among those who liked the message.
Palmer has endured a challenging calendar year for Chelsea, but he has still carried much of the side’s attacking threat since arriving from Manchester City in 2023.
Although he has scored just once in his last 16 Premier League games, he still ended the season with an impressive 15 goals and 10 assists in the league—another standout contribution for a player in his second season at the club.
Chelsea push to sign Marc Guehi in major summer rebuild

With Champions League football secured and Palmer likely to stay, the Blues have turned their attention to summer reinforcements.
Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown has revealed that Chelsea are accelerating efforts to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
The England international is expected to leave Selhurst Park this summer with just one year remaining on his current deal, and several clubs are monitoring the situation.
A return to Stamford Bridge could be the perfect opportunity to prove himself once more on the European stage, and Chelsea may look to capitalise on that motivation as they build for the new campaign.
