James Trafford reacts after another Man City player agrees exit
Man City’s new signing James Trafford was among the players to react after an update emerged regarding a teammate’s potential exit from the club.
Man City have undergone a summer of rebuilding after finishing third last season, marking the first trophyless campaign for Pep Guardiola’s side in eight years.
Several high-profile arrivals have already joined the squad, including Rayan Cherki and Tijanni Reijnders, while Man City also re-signed academy graduate Trafford last month.
Amid the influx of new faces, there have been a number of departures as well, with Kyle Walker completing a move to Burnley and Jack Grealish joining Everton on loan.
The summer rebuild now looks set to continue, with another player reportedly preparing to leave the club after a journalist’s update.

Nottingham Forest agree deal to sign James McAtee
Fabrizio Romano has revealed on Instagram that Nottingham Forest have agreed a £30 million deal to sign James McAtee from Man City.
He added that he had already said “yes” to Forest earlier in the week, with City agreeing to the transfer, which will include a buy-back clause.
The announcement drew reactions from Trafford, who liked the post, as well as McAtee’s potential new teammate Ryan Yates.
This comes after Football Insider reported on Tuesday (12 August) that Nottingham Forest were closing in on McAtee after City lowered their asking price.
Man City had initially demanded £35 million amid growing interest in the midfielder, but Nuno Espirito Santo’s side appear to have secured his signature.
McAtee had just 12 months remaining on his current contract, but started only nine games last season, prompting his decision to leave. In 27 appearances, the England Under-21 captain still managed seven goals, highlighting his potential as Forest prepare the final stages to sign him.

Man City in talks to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma
With McAtee set to depart, Man City continue to be active in the transfer market with potential incomings.
Football Insider revealed that Man City have entered the race to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma after the Italian announced he will leave his current club this summer.
With PSG opting to trust new signing Lucas Chevalier, Donnarumma has been sidelined, and City appear ready to take advantage of the situation to strengthen their goalkeeping options.
