Jamie Carragher slams key Everton man, states why he has been poor again
By Amir Mir
Jamie Carragher has slammed Everton striker Romelu Lukaku for losing the ball “again” just before his club conceded and producing a poor display against Swansea on Saturday evening.
Ronald Koeman’s team were beaten 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium, with Fernando Llorente’s goal being the difference on the night.
Leading up to the Spaniard scoring for the Swans, Lukaku had lost the ball on the halfway line which allowed the home team to capitalise.
During the match, an Everton fan ran onto the pitch to hug Lukaku, who at first seemed bemused by the supporter, before embracing him back.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher pointed out that moment but he wasn’t pleased with Lukaku’s performance.

From an individual standpoint, it has been a successful season for Lukaku, who is currently the Premier League’s top goalscorer.
He has found the back of the net on 24 occasions from 35 matches, but he has failed to score during his last three fixtures.
During those encounters, the Toffees have picked up only one point against West Ham, losing the other two against Chelsea and Swansea.
Nonetheless, his goals during this campaign have helped Koeman’s team into Europe but fans will be hoping their key man is still at the club next term.
Lukaku revealed that he is not going to sign a new deal with the club which has put his future into question at Goodison Park.
