Jenas: This is what will happen to Tottenham the minute Kane decides to leave
By Amir Mir
Jermaine Jenas believes the minute Harry Kane decides to leave Tottenham then the club’s aspirations will start to “lessen”.
The 23-year-old scored a hat-trick on the last day of the Premier League season as his side recorded a thumping 7-1 win away at relegated Hull.
As a result, he was confirmed as the golden boot winner for the second consecutive campaign, scoring 29 goals in 30 league encounters.
Given that he has topped the scoring charts once again, this will no doubt see rival clubs looking to sign the highly-talented forward.
Former Spurs midfielder Jenas thinks Kane will stay in North London for the time being but warned what could happen if he were to leave.

“He doesn’t strike me as the type of person that will leave just yet,” Jenas told BT Sports Score’s official Twitter account. “I think he feels he has things to do in the Premier League.
“The minute Harry Kane decides to leave Tottenham is when Tottenham’s aspirations start to lessen. When they are not chasing Premier League titles. When he is not with one of the best teams in the Premier League right now.
“Then Harry Kane will have to go, maybe I have to go to Man City to beat Alan Shearer’s record or Manchester United.”

Kane suffered two knee injuries this season but still managed to pip his rivals to the golden boot award.
Everton frontman Romelu Lukaku scored against Arsenal on the last day 0f the season to take his tally to 25 goals for the campaign.
Nonetheless, Kane will now look to guide his team into their new stadium which the club will move into for the start of the 2018/19 season.
The England international scored the winning goals in Spurs’ final match at White Hart Lane when they beat Manchester United 2-1.
Added to that, he kept up his strong goalscoring record against fellow London sides this term, scoring against the likes of West Ham, Arsenal and Chelsea.
In other Tottenham news, Glenn Hoddle believes this Premier League attacker would be perfect in the Spurs system.
