Jenas: Kane relies on this Tottenham duo not to struggle in games

Jermaine Jenas has claimed that Tottenham’s creative players get the best out of Harry Kane after scoring a brace against Everton.
Kane, 23, took his goalscoring tally to 24 goals in all competitions this season after finding the back of the net on two occasions against the Toffees during Spurs’ 3-2 win at White Hart Lane.
Speaking on BBC One’s Match of the Day Two, former Spurs midfielder Jenas claimed the presence of Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli allow Kane to find his best form.
Ex-England international Jenas also claimed that without the creative aid provided by Eriksen and Alli, Kane’s worst form comes when he becomes isolated and is left to fend for himself.
“When he is on his own he becomes isolated,” Jenas said. “He struggles for club and country. The reason he is in such good form at the moment is because he is playing with Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli.

“Having those players in the creative areas of the pitch allows Kane to be where he wants to be, on the final man in between the sticks. Eriksen and Alli create, while Kane does the business.”
Being isolated in Spurs’ tougher matches, Kane has found the back of the net against the Premier League’s top six just once in seven matches.
Similarly, Kane struggled for England as they crashed out of the Euro 2016 last summer, as the Three Lions struggled to provide an attacking threat in France.
However, with Eriksen and Alli given more license to get forward against teams who are lower down the league, Kane has found the net 18 times in 15 games against teams outside the top six.
As well as Kane, Alli also got his name on the score sheet against Everton to cancel out Romelu Lukaku and Enner Valencia’s goals and earn all three points.
