Brighton forward Joao Pedro reacted to a message from Chelsea’s young star Andrey Santos amid interest from Bayern Munich.
The Brazilian midfielder has been in fine form whilst on loan at Strasbourg this season, scoring 10 and assisting three goals for Liam Rosenior’s side.
Despite being just 21 years old and a temporary member of the French side, the former Vasco da Gama midfielder was entrusted with the captain’s armband for much of his stay.
Santos is expected to play a significant part in Chelsea’s Club World Cup campaign in North America this summer.
But before the midfielder returns to his parent club, the 21-year-old has been called up to Carlo Ancelotti’s first Brazil squad to play World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.

After being called up to the Selecao, Santos shared several photos on Instagram greeting his peers and coach, captioned with a Brazil flag and a grinning emoji.
The post was then liked by Chelsea transfer target Pedro, showing support for his international teammate, and potentially his club teammate next season as well.
Santos has been capped just once for the Brazil senior side and will be hoping to add to that tally in the upcoming qualification games.

MailOnline reported in April that Bayern hold “serious” interest in Santos after his impressive season in France.
The midfielder is viewed as one of the world’s hottest prospects in his position, but there is a risk his development could be stunted by returning to West London.
Awaiting Santos at Stamford Bridge is Real Madrid target Enzo Fernandez, British-record transfer Moises Caicedo, former Man City man Romeo Lavia, and potentially Chelsea captain Reece James, who Enzo Maresca has used in midfield this season.
After a dismal loan spell at Nottingham Forest, where he played just twice, the Brazilian has blossomed at Strasbourg.
But another spell on the side-lines could seriously hamper his abilities and confidence, and that is something Bayern will be keenly aware of.
