Jobe Bellingham and Ethan Nwaneri react to Omari Hutchinson amid exit rumours

Omari Hutchinson is attracting plenty of attention with speculation that he is set to leave Portman Road this summer.

Dortmund are one of the club’s interested in signing Hutchinson alongside their Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig and Premier League side Everton.

Hutchinson joined Ipswich in a £20million deal last summer from Chelsea, but following the Tractor Boys’ relegation from the Premier League, the 21-year-old looks set to depart.

Kieran McKenna’s men finished with a dire 22 points in their first top flight season for 22 years, and will play Championship football again next campaign.

England stars react to Hutchinson post

Hutchinson has been enjoying a post-season break following a long season which ended in triumph with the England Under-21 squad.

The young Three Lions defended their Euros title after beating Germany 3-2 in the final, which Hutchinson started and scored in.

He took to Instagram to share pictures from his holidays, which England team mates Jobe Bellingham and Ethan Nwaneri liked.

Hutchinson to follow in similar footsteps

Football Insider Verdict

Plenty of talent has left the Premier League to develop in the Bundesliga and Dortmund are lining up another move for a young star.

Hutchinson would join Bellingham at the club and follow in the foot steps of Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham and Jamie Gittens.

Hutchinson’s stats across all competitions during his time at Ipswich.

Gittens’ impressive spell in Germany has just earnt the 20-year-old a move to Chelsea, whilst Jude Bellingham has gone onto Real Madrid.

Whilst Sancho hasn’t lit up the Premier League, his spell at Dortmund was successful and convinced United to spend £73m in 2021.

Dortmund therefore has a positive reputation for signing and selling on English players.

Hutchinson would be guaranteed Champions League football and the chance to play against the best teams and players in the world which after his success with the England Under-21 side could catch the eye of senior boss Thomas Tuchel.

It may be too early to force his ways into Tuchel’s World Cup plans next summer, but it would give the German another option.

Fellow interested club Everton though would also be a good move for the former Arsenal academy product, with the Toffees moving into their brand new stadium, and it would mean Hutchinson remains in the Premier League.
