'Club must be liquidated', 'Total shambles' - Arsenal fans fume at latest contract offer report

Jack Wilshere has finally been offered a new contract by the Arsenal hierarchy in a bid to stop one of their prized assets from leaving for a free in the summer, according to a report.
The Daily Mail claim that although an offer is on the table, it is not an improved offer and as details of the offer emerge, Arsenal supporters are distinctly unimpressed with their club’s bid to get their talented England midifleder to stay.
WIlshere, 26, has been up front about his desire to remain with the Gunners and despite the club’s poor recent displays, the attacker has been one of their best perfromerer since his comeback from a serious injury.
The new contract, which is yet to be signed, would see the midfielder take a pay-cut, going from a weekly wage of £90,000 to £80,000 but with a number of lucrative bonuses built into the package which the Gunners hope will boost the deal.
There have been mixed reactions to the news of Wilshere’s contract renewal offer but most have been left in a state of bewilderment and irritation by the club’s lack of desire to retain one of their most talented players.
Arsenal flop Granit Xhaka, by comparison, takes home a weekly wage of £90,000 per week.
