Wolverhampton Wanderers fell to a 2-0 defeat on Saturday against Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest and supporters have reacted with shock.
It was only Aitor Karanka’s second game in charge of the Reds after his first ended in defeat and what a difference a few days have made.
Goals from Kieran Dowell and Ben Osborn just before the stroke of half-time were enough to see off Wolves who put on a rare disappointing display in front of the Molineux home faithful.
It was Nuno’s side’s second defeat in the space of a week after his side were beaten in the FA Cup by Premier League struggler’s Swansea City.
In spite of the defeat, Wolves still have a comfortable nine-point lead at the top of the table and continue to be strong favourites for promotion to the English top flight.
Supporters were less than impressed with the outcome of the game and they took to Twitter in their droves to utter their complaints:

Have had a feeling we might go on a dip.

Forest are all over us tbf. 2 or 3 players closing down on us at a time. Doc and Douglas arent being allowed to play. After this first half we can only hope forest tire out in the 2nd half. Forest totally deserve this lead

The West Midlands club now have a trip to Ipswich Town a week today and they will hope for a return to winning ways.
