TalkSPORT pundit and self-confessed Liverpool fan Danny Gabbidon has slammed Alberto Moreno after his miss in the Reds’ Sunday win over West Brom.
Manager Jurgen Klopp watched from the touchlines as his side battled to a hard-fought 1-0 victory at the Hawthorns with Roberto Firmino scoring his side’s only goal.
However, it could have been a much more comfortable score line after substitute Moreno ran through at an open goal before slicing a shot from distance some way off the target.
His miss certainly came in for a lot of criticism and former Premier League defender Gabbidon joined in by labelling it as a “joke” via his personal Twitter account.
That's why Moreno doesn't play… Joke!

Moreno has certainly struggled at Liverpool since joining from Sevilla in the summer of 2014 in a £12million deal.
However, it is often his defensive duties that let him down rather than his moves going forward.
The three-time capped Spain international has made just 10 Premier League appearances this season, returning one assist and it is unlikely he is going to make much more as he continues to struggle with just two years left on his current contract.
In other Liverpool news, the Reds have been tipped to sign this 24-year-old La Liga shot-stopper.
