Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons is well liked by manager Rafael Benitez and is likely to find himself being handed more action in the future, according to a journalist.
Mark Douglas, the Newcastle United editor for the Chronicle, claimed on his personal Twitter account that the Spanish boss is a big fan of the Jamaican born speed machine, having seen the 22-year-old impress in the 2-2 draw with West Brom on Tuesday.

Aarons has made just one start for the Magpies this season, coming in the 3-2 League Cup defeat against Nottingham Forest, in which he netted, and has a total of three appearances for the first team this campaign after featuring against both the Baggies and Manchester United from the substitutes’ bench.
He has been a promising talent on Tyneside but injuries have limited his development, and as such he has just 25 outings, four goals and three assists under his belt for the senior side, despite having been with the Magpies since 2012.
Naturally a left winger, he will be fighting with summer signing Jacob Murphy for a role on the flank, who has started each of the last three games for Newcastle in the absence of the injured Christian Atsu.
Newcastle ended a run of four straight defeats with the point against West Brom, and will be hoping that they can pick up another result when Chelsea visit St James’ Park on Saturday.
In other Newcastle United news, Amanda Staveley’s position in takeover talks has been revealed with a £40million transfer claim.
