Jude Bellingham sends heartfelt response after confirmed Jobe Bellingham news
Jude Bellingham reacted witha simple message after an eventful full debut for his brother Jobe Belillingham at Borussia Dortmund.
Both Bellingham brothers have taken centre stage at FIFA’s Club World Cup this summer, with Jude’s Real Madrid one of the tournament favourites despite a 1-1 draw with Al-Hilal in their opening match.
Dortmund lost to Real Madrid in the 2024 Champions League final, but now have a Bellingham of their own after Jobe’s £27million arrival from Sunderland on June 10 in the wake of their play-off final victory.
Jobe Bellingham has followed a similar path to his elder brother after Jude’s own move from Birmingham City to the Westfalenstadion back in 2020, and the 19-year-old has already begun to make his mark.

Bellingham reacts to Jobe award in Club World Cup
Although Real Madrid’s Club World Cup campaign didn’t get off to a winning start, they’ll be keen to bounce back as Dortmund have done after their 4-3 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.
Jobe Bellingham made his debut off the bench as Dortmund drew 0-0 with Fluminense in their opener, before they produced the highest-scoring match of the tournament in which both sides found the net.
Jobe scored Dortmund’s third against the South African champions to put them 3-1 up on the stroke of half-time, and his overall performance in Cincinnati earned him the ‘Superior Player of the Match’ award.
Jude Bellingham shared Dortmund’s announcement of the award on his Instagram story (21 June), and included a ‘love heart’ emoji to show support for his younger brother’s milestone.

Bellingham developments are good news for Thomas Tuchel
Football Insider Verdict
Several pundits had hoped to see Jobe Bellingham stay the course with Sunderland ahead of their return to the Premier League next season, with both Jude and the teenager yet to debut in England’s top-flight.
Dortmund’s big-money move for Jobe proved too good for the Black Cats to turn down, and Sunderland could have up to £200m to spend this summer as a result of the financial leeway brought by his sale.
Jude Bellingham’s development came on leaps and bounds during his time with the Black-Yellows, and with England‘s 2026 World Cup campaign less than a year away, Thomas Tuchel will hope for the same from his younger brother this season.
