Jude Bellingham told to complete sensational move after journalist's update - 'Liverpool is the one', says pundit
Frank McAvennie has told Jude Bellingham to choose Liverpool over Man City.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former West Ham striker insisted even though he’ll be almost guaranteed to win trophies, Bellingham won’t get as much game time as he wants at City.
According to journalist Mike Keegan, reported in the Daily Mail (9 November), the Sky Blues have held initial talks over a move for the 19-year-old.
City are said to be confident that the midfielder will choose a move to the Etihad given the strong relationship between the club and Borussia Dortmund after the sale of Man City.
Last month (29 October), sources told this site that although Liverpool held preliminary talks over a move for the England international, they now worry they could be priced out if Bellingham has a good World Cup.
McAvennie has told Bellingham to think about how much playing time he wants when choosing his future club.

“If he goes to Man City he is not going to play as much,” he told Football Insider.
“Look at what happened to [Kalvin] Phillips. If Bellingham wants to do that then Man City is the place.
“If he wants to go and challenge for tournaments and cups, but play, then Liverpool is the one. For me it is a no-brainer.
“I am not saying Man City is not a wonderful club, they have one of the best managers in the world. But, you just look at their midfield and think he is going to be rested all the time.
“He will want to play all the time, I can see it. He will not want to be rested.“
