Jurgen Klopp to 'mastermind' star trio's exit after Liverpool news confirmed - Campbell
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will “mastermind a transition” at Anfield over the next four years, according to Kevin Campbell.
The ex-Premier League striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 54-year-old will oversee the permanent replacement of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in that time.
On Thursday (28 April) the Reds announced Klopp had put pen to paper on a two-year contract extension along with his staff.
The deal will see ex-Borussia Dortmund manager and his staff remain on Merseyside until the end of June 2026.
It comes at the end of a season in which Liverpool could complete an historic quadruple.
When asked by Football Insider if the news could have a significant impact on Liverpool’s transfer plans, Campbell said:

“Klopp is going to be there for a good few years now. This cements Liverpool at the top for the next four years.
“Klopp is going to mastermind a transition at Liverpool. At some stage they are going to lose Mane, Salah and Firmino. Klopp has already sorted replacements in [Luis] Diaz, [Diogo] Jota and [Fabio] Carvalho. They also have Harvey Elliott to come into that picture.
“There is going to be change at Liverpool. You want Klopp to oversee and mastermind that so it’s great news for them.”
Mane, Salah and Firmino are all out of contract next summer.
The trio are all aged 29 and above.
