‘Justin Kluivert’s agents seek transfer amid potential Bournemouth exodus’
Justin Kluivert is one of a number of Bournemouth stars who could be departing the Vitality Stadium in the summer if his representatives get their way.
The Dutchman is the Cherries’ top scorer this season with 12 Premier League goals to his name, including two hat-tricks.
Kluivert’s potency in front of goal has helped fire Bournemouth to their best ever points tally in the top flight, and the south-coast side still have a realistic chance of European football next season.
With just three games remaining of the 2024/25 campaign Andoni Iraola’s side sit eighth in the table, which could be enough to secure them a Europa Conference League spot.
However, their success has come at a price, and some of Europe’s best are already sniffing around some of the Cherries’ key assets.

Kluivert being marketed to other clubs
Before joining Bournemouth, Kluivert had struggled to live up to the name of his father, former Barcelona and Netherlands striker Patrick.
However, since his move to the south coast, the 26-year-old has started to finally realise his potential and it seems his agents are keen to take advantage of his impressive campaign.

According to Martin Samuel in The Times (5 May), however, Kluivert’s agents have been offering the Dutchman’s services to other clubs for a number of months now, in the hope that a move can be sealed in the summer transfer window.
To add insult to injury for Cherries fans, The Times also say that a Liverpool bid for full back Milos Kerkez is expected at Bournemouth, while they are also interested in centre back Dean Huijsen, as are Real Madrid, Newcastle United, and Chelsea.
Bournemouth’s second-top goalscorer Evanilson is also the subject of ongoing transfer speculation, despite only joining the club last summer.

Bournemouth must not be bullied into selling players
Bournemouth are currently in the strongest position in their history after they moved into a new state-of-the-art training facility in March, as well as still being in the hunt for a European place.
Under the ownership of the Black Night consortium, which includes actor Michael B. Jordan, the Cherries have also just announced planned stadium renovations, which will increase the capacity of the Vitality Stadium to 20,000.
However, the most important thing for the Cherries is to retain as many of their key players as possible. It may not be realistic to keep hold of every single one of their star men, but they cannot afford a mass exodus.
Keeping hold of Kluivert feels particularly essential for Bournemouth given the goals he has contributed to the cause this season. After losing Dominic Solanke to Tottenham last summer, Kluivert is one of the players to have really picked up the mantle.
Losing him would leave Bournemouth with a big job on their hands to replace him.
