Kane will '100%' never quit Tottenham and may sign new contract after latest - pundit
Gabby Agbonlahor has suggested Harry Kane will see out his career at Tottenham after he failed to secure a move away this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward claimed it “made sense” for both Kane and the club to look at a new deal.
Football Insider first broke the news on 9 April that the England captain wanted to quit his boyhood club during the summer transfer window.
However, he admitted defeat just under a week before deadline day by reaffirming his commitment to the club via Twitter.
The Athletic reported on 27 August that Kane rejected the offer of a new contract from Tottenham earlier that month.
The 28-year-old’s current contract expires in the summer of 2024.

Asked whether Kane may stay in north London for the rest of his career, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “100 per cent.
“That’s it now, Harry Kane will not be going anywhere. He’s a Spurs player now and he’s not going to get that opportunity to move ever again.
“It makes sense for both parties to maybe look at a new deal.
“But he’s still got three years left, don’t forget. If I’m Spurs, there’s no rush for a new contract. They can negotiate a new contract next year. He’s still got three years left. There’s no rush for them.”
Kane has scored twice in three games across all competitions this season.
However, he is yet to find the net in either of his Premier League appearances this term.
