Keinan Davis: Ex-teammate makes ‘exciting’ Nottingham Forest claim as permanent move touted
Alan Hutton has tipped Keinan Davis to push for a permanent move to Nottingham Forest if he does not have a future at Aston Villa.
The former Villa defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted Forest are an “exciting” team who are “going places” under Steve Cooper.
Davis, 23, joined the Championship side on loan until the end of the season from Villa last month.

He has made an immediate impact at the City Ground in what is his first spell away from Villa Park.
Hutton insisted Davis is “in the shop window” as he looks to forge a future at Villa or elsewhere.
However, he suggested a permanent move to Forest would be very appealing for the striker.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “You’re in the shop window. That’s ultimately, as well, why you are going out on loan. Of course you want to come back to your parent club and be involved.
“But if that’s not the case, and that’s not available to you, you want to perform to show other suitors that you’re more than capable.“
Asked if he thought Forest could be a good permanent home for Davis, Hutton said: “I think it would be. It’s not far from Birmingham. It’s not far from home, you can travel.
“They’re an exciting team now under an exciting new manager. They are going places and have really picked up recently.
“So why would you not want to be a part of that?”

Davis has scored twice in six appearances for Forest so far.
His contract at Villa runs until the summer of 2024.
