Key 23-year-old an injury doubt ahead of Tottenham v Millwall clash
By Dominic Toner
Millwall goalkeeper Jordan Archer has been rated a “40/60” chance of being passed fit in time for Tottenham.
Spurs host the League One opposition on Sunday in the FA Cup quarter-finals and Mauricio Pochettino’s side are chasing a piece of silverware.
Archer, who is a ex-Spurs academy graduate, is regarded as the number one option for Millwall.
However, he has missed the last four games through injury and may miss out on the chance to face his former side.
Millwall manager Neil Harris has revealed that shot stopper Archer is a doubt ahead of the Spurs clash, but they will give him every opportunity to prove his fitness.

“Jordan is about 40/60 at the moment with regards to Sunday,” Harris said, as quoted by the club’s official website. “We’re hopeful that he will be fit enough to take his place in the squad as it’s a big game for him, being against his old club.
“But, we’ve got some big games coming up. If he’s not 100%, we won’t risk him. We’ll give him every opportunity to be fit, though, right up until matchday.”
Archer has made 37 appearances across all competitions this season and is aiding Millwall in their attempt to gain promotion from League One.
He has also been a key player in their fantastic FA Cup run and played in all five rounds so far.
The goalkeeper helped the London side progress past Southend and Braintree Town in the earlier rounds, before keeping clean sheets against Premier League sides Bournemouth, Watford and leicester en route to the quarter-finals.
