Key player provides huge Tottenham injury boost ahead of clash v Swansea - report
By Danny Wright
Victor Wanyama has travelled to Swansea for Tottenham’s next game on Wednesday, according to a report.
The London Evening Standard reports that the key player will be able to take part in the action despite being forced off in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Burnley.
The 25-year-old suffered a back injury in the first half of the win at Turf Moor and Spurs were sweating over his fitness ahead of the trip to Wales.
He should be at least among the substitutes, which provides a huge boost for Mauricio Pochettino who has recently learned that Harry Winks will miss the rest of the season.
Erik Lamela, Danny Rose and top goalscorer Harry Kane are also sidelined through injury.

Wanyama has been a key part of the Spurs midfield this season, forging a strong partnership with Mousa Dembele.
The Kenyan international has made 39 appearances in all competitions in an impressive debut campaign since he joined from Southampton last summer.
He has started every single Premier League match this season however that record could be ended if Pochettino doesn’t deem him fit enough to start against Paul Clement’s resurgent Swans.
Tottenham are currently second in the league, seven points behind leaders Chelsea who play Manchester City on Wednesday.
