Keiran Trippier and Eberechi Eze reacted to a message from Rangers’ new boy Max Aarons on social media.
For the first time in a long time, there is optimism at Ibrox during a transfer window.
Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises’ arrival as new owners has heralded a new era for the Bears, and the club are wasting no time in strengthening the club.
Following a £20million investment into Rangers from the new owners and existing shareholders, Russell Martin was announced as the successor to Barry Ferguson.
Lyall Cameron has arrived after his signing from Dundee FC was agreed in February, and plenty more are expected to arrive in the coming days and weeks.
And with James Tavernier’s Rangers career seemingly reaching its finality, the club have secured the signing of Aarons as his replacement for next season.

Max Aarons sends message to Rangers fans after transfer
Following his arrival at the club on loan, Aarons shared several images of himself in Rangers apparel, captioned: “Honoured to be here at this huge club. A massive season ahead and I can’t wait to see you at Ibrox. Let’s go!”
The post was liked by Trippier and Eze, with the pair showing their support for the right-back who has been capped 27 times at England Under-21 level.
Max Aarons looking to get career back on track after difficult Bournemouth, Valencia spells
Football Insider Verdict
During the start of his career with Norwich City, there were few English right-backs as highly rated as Aarons.
However, after joining Bournemouth in 2023, the defender struggled to break into the Cherries’ side and moved to Valencia on loan last season.
In Spain, Aarons once again found it difficult to nail down a starting spot, making just five appearances during his time with Los Che.
But Rangers and Martin will likely give the 25-year-old the perfect platform to resurrect his ailing career.
Southampton had a bid for Aarons rejected last summer [BBC Sport] when the now Bears boss was in charge at St. Mary’s, and with Tavernier likely leaving, the ex-Norwich man will likely be giving a clear run at making the right-back position his own.
