Top-flight team poised to land £5m Aston Villa attacker as reunion on the cards - report
Kilmarnock are poised to seal a loan deal for Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola, according to a report.
The Scottish Sun claim that the 23-year-old attacking midfielder has been told he can leave in January on loan as Steve Bruce looks to get regular game time for the player he bought for £5million in the summer of 2016.
Since then Tshibola has only made 10 appearances for Aston Villa and has been sent out on two loan deal to Nottingham Forest and MK Dons.
Tshibola only played four games for Nottingham Forest and The Scottish Sun claim the spell at MK Dons didn’t go well.
Now Steve Clarke is ready to give him a go in the Scottish top flight after working with him before at Reading and Aston Villa.
Football Insider verdict:
In a litany of failures from Aston Villa in the transfer market, the deal for Aaron Tshibola must be one of the most. The promising youngster just hasn’t delivered at all for Aston Villa, after signing for a huge £5million. Making just 10 appearances – at a staggering cost that works out to £500,000 per game – Steve Bruce will be happy to get him off the books, albeit temporarily. The Scottish top flight will give him one last chance at resurrecting his career.
