'One positive': Koeman delivers damning verdict of Everton display v West Ham
By Matt Farr
Ronald Koeman believes a clean sheet was the only positive to take from Everton’s 0-0 draw with West Ham on Saturday.
Everton were held to a goalless drew by a struggling West Ham side that had picked up just four points from their previous seven Premier League matches, a stalemate which left Koeman disappointed.
As quoted by the club’s official Twitter account, the Everton chief lamented the lack of positives that could have been drawn from the result, insisting a clean sheet was all his side could be thankful for.

The result did however, see Everton at least jump ahead of Arsenal into sixth in the Premier League table, but their lead may not last long as the Gunners still have three games in-hand.
It was a rather drab performance from both sides, with Everton failing to register a single shot on goal until the 70th-minute, although they failed to hit the target.
The Toffees have now won just two of their last 13 away fixtures, a run of form which has impacted upon their bid to finish in the top four this season.
In contrast, it was Everton’s eighth clean sheet since the new year, continuing an impressive defensive record for Koeman’s side.
