Kris Commons delivers Instagram dig at Rangers
By Harry Sykes
Kris Commons has taken a light-hearted dig at Rangers over a lack of trophies in recent years.
The former Celtic playmaker, who has been linked with a move to Hibernian since his Parkhead release this summer, filmed Sky Sports show SPFL Matters at Ibrox this week.
The latest episode sees him and Light Blues legend Kris Boyd interview Rangers midfielder Graham Dorrans following his dream league debut for the club last weekend.
Commons did not waste the opportunity to deliver a sly attack at Celtic’s bitter rivals.
“This week Kris Boyd and I sat down with last week’s match winner Graham Dorrans,” Commons wrote on his personal Instagram account.

Commons, who is recovering after a back operation, joined Hayley McQueen and former Bhoys No2 John Collins in the studio last week as his old club hammered Hearts 4-1.
Dorrans then scored a memorable double on his Rangers league debut to give his new club a 2-1 win against Motherwell at Fir Park to get their Scottish Premiership campaign off to a winning start.
The former Scotland midfielder opened the scoring after just four minutes before Motherwell equalised through Ben Heneghan’s header.
But Dorrans, 29, was not to be denied a glorious start to his Rangers career as his 58th-minute penalty after Fabio Cardoso had been fouled in the box gave his side three points.
Commons, 33, is regarded as one of Celtic’s outstanding players of the last decade after scoring 89 goals and supplying 72 assists in 227 matches for the club before his summer release.
In other Rangers news, the club are eyeing a swoop for a top-flight duo and have already tabled one major bid.
