Kyle Walker sends five-word message after new Man City deal agreed

Man City star Kyle Walker has taken to social media to send a message to Pep Guardiola after the manager signed a new deal.

The current champions announced late on Thursday (November 21) that Guardiola, 53, had signed a contract extension that would keep him at the club until 2027.

Football Insider first exclusively revealed the news of Guardiola’s new agreement last Friday (November 15), explaining that a deal between the two parties would soon be announced.

Guardiola’s new deal comes with the independent hearing into Man City’s alleged 115 breaches of financial rules in full swing.

What’s going to happen still remains a mystery but punishment could range from a fine to expulsion from the Premier League.

Kyle Walker delighted to see Pep Guardiola stay at Man City

Walker, 34, has fallen out of favour somewhat, starting just fine of City’s 11 Premier League games so far this season as they lag behind Arne Slot’s Liverpool in the race for the title.

He may not be playing as much as he used to, but the defender is clearly delighted to see Guardiola remain at the club, taking to Instagram to make his feelings known.

Guardiola will no doubt be hoping this new deal will be the boost needed to get his side out of their current rut, having lost four consecutive games for the first time since he took charge in 2016.

They face a visit from Tottenham, the side that started their shocking run of form, on Saturday (November 23).
